“To Encounter, Equip, and Send Youth to be Ambassadors for Christ in their world.”

This is our Mission Statement for High School Youth Ministry at St. Francis Church. We believe teens are the Church now. We seek to welcome all to have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ; to seek to know and love Him in Scripture, active participation in the Sacraments, and through community. We encourage teens to be leaders in faith to their peers and in their world.

We would love to journey in faith with your teen this year! We meet every other Wednesday night, 7:00-8:30 PM, in the St. Claire portable building. Youth Nights include dynamic talks, small groups, prayer, games, food each night. We have a fantastic Core Team of Adults who are passionate about accompanying teens in their walk of faith.

We encourage teens to be active members of our parish community through service and participation in the liturgy. Through serving during the liturgy in music ministry, altar servers, hospitality, and lectors, as well as helping at Parish events like the Fall Festival and Food Distribution.

Teens have the opportunity to participate in larger events like the Dallas Catholic Youth Conference, Lifeteen Camp Covecrest, and Retreats. These events help connect teens to other Catholic youth and the Universal Church while encountering Christ present in the Eucharist.
